Fiber has more throughput than cable. From a use perspective Comcast has much lower upload speeds than FIOS (they allocate more of their limited bandwidth to downloads since that is what most people use) and is prone to slowing down during busy times of the day due to congestion. TL:DR. t-mobile home internet speeds are pretty incredible for being a 5G gateway. cost will be consistent 50 dollars a month with auto pay (might be 10-15 dollars more if you’re not a T-Mobile wireless customer or no auto pay) don’t expect to play games competitively (latency is meh) . Xfinity is just Comcast rebranding cable internet to seem more competitive with fiber internet (FIOS). Fiber has more throughput than cable. From a use perspective Comcast has much lower upload speeds than FIOS (they allocate more of their limited bandwidth to downloads since that is what most people use) and is prone to slowing down during busy times of the day due to congestion.
